This milestone is marked by the first marriage registration conducted at the Consulate General under Sri Lankan General (Common) Law.
This form of registration constitutes a valid and legally recognized marriage, ensuring the protection of the rights and responsibilities of both parties, including those relating to their children, in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
